Yesterday's sunshine tempted me outside, so I took myself and my camera down to the riverside in search of butterflies. I didn't have to wait long before this Red Admiral came cruising by, slower than they usually are in flight, and then I realised that part of its hind wing was torn off .It let me take numerous photos of it before it left me to chase after other butterflies. Later, while I was searching for Meadow Brown’s, I looked through the tall grass and spotted this tiny little rabbit hiding right beside my path, its big black eyes staring at me, unblinking. I casually took some photos of it, pretending not to notice it, and tried to get a little closer without disturbing it, but it darted off through the grass, its fluffy cotton tail the last thing I saw of it… Made my way back home after rewarding myself with a mug of hot chocolate and cream.
